This tour is a shortened version of the 6-day SCMD tour also following this route. It excludes the one private wildlife lodge, still incorporates the Kruger Park with it’s amazing wildlife, Mpumalanga with mountains, valleys, waterfalls, pockets of primal forests, mangrove forests and sub-tropical vegetation, the Kingdom of Swaziland, one of only three sovereign Kingdoms left in Africa, and the diverse KwaZulu-Natal with habitats such as lakes, rivers, dune forests, beaches and mangrove forests.
Some of the highlights of this 12-day escorted package are the Kruger National Park, Swaziland and Hluhluwe Game Reserves. We then travel the coastline from Durban via the scenic Garden Route to Cape Town. We branch off for a visit to the Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn on the way.
