Vic Falls, Chobe and Okavango Delta

DAY 1. Johannesburg – Vic Falls
Fly from the O R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg to Vic Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest af the afternoon is at your own leisure to explore the area. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2. Vic Falls
The Victoria Falls is in its 150 millionth fantastic year, truly awe-inspiring experience - the sight, the sound, the smell, the humbling feeling that this may indeed be nature's supreme masterpiece. Nothing prepares one for your first sight of the falls. On this guided tour, you will be accompanied through the rainforest by a qualified guide who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird and wildlife and other points of interest. We return to the hotel later or you can do our own exploring.
Later this afternoon embark on a 2-hour Sundowner Cruise including finger snacks, beer, wine, champagne and soft drinks on the Zambezi River. The cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. You have the opportunity to see a variety of game including hippo, crocodile, elephant and sometimes even rhino, as well as many bird species.

Day 3
After breakfast depart for a road transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana, 100km west of Victoria Falls. The park is home to 450 species of birds and the largest concentration of elephants in Africa.
You reach your lodge and check in. Late afternoon embark on an open vehicle or boat safari depending on the lodge. Return late evening for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4.
Today starts early with a wake-up call and a morning safari. The rest of the day is spent having sumptuous meals, more safaris, enjoying the luxury of your ‘Out Of Africa’ accommodation and the surrounding beauty of the Africa bush! Overnight at your lodge.

Day 5 & 6
You are transferred by air to the heart of the Okavango Delta, a unique wetland system, fed by the Okavango River, and comprising 16 000 sq km of crystal clear channels, islands and lagoons. This water wilderness is a safe haven for innumerable bird and wildlife species. Explore the Okavango by Mokoro, a traditional dug-out canoe, by boat or wilderness walks on nearby islands. Some lodge offer land safaris in addition. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 7
Early morning breakfast and flight back to Kasane in time for the transfer to Victoria Falls to connect with your flight back to Johannesburg arriving mid-afternoon.
