The Kruger Park offers a very special wildlife experience, from the BIG 5 to the smallest plant or insect, each player in this vast and varied interacts in its own drama for survival in the African Bushveld. The Kruger Park enjoys a subtropical climate, and since temperatures are generally hot in summer, winter are the most popular season for viewing animals, which can easily be spotted at the rivers and watering holes during the day. An added advantage of the winter season are the minimal vegetation and mild climate. Summer though hot, transforms the park's dry grasses into vivid greens, and the leafless trees into a riot of color.
