5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

We visit one of South Africa's main landmarks and offers an exciting wilderness experience. The sight of elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo, etc. in their natural habitat is always a thrill. The park is the second largest in South Africa with a south to north span of more than 380 kilometres and has a vast selection of animal species. The evenings are particularly rewarding when you hear the sounds of Africa from the camps. We combine this treasure with another, less known, one - in the Waterberg Mountains and adjacent areas sporting a highveld and savannah like climate.

Here we encounter another geological beauty teamed with Africa's wild life. And on our way here from the famous Kruger National Park we spend a day in the Magoabaskloof Mountains, a mountainous area of immense beauty and with some short hiking opportunities.  This tour offers you the different worlds of northern South Africa with its great wild life treasures - a must see!

DAY 1. 5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

We drive eastwards via Witbank and Middelburg to Nelspruit and enter the Kruger National Park in the south. Our encounter with the wild life starts here. Tonight we enter our camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2. 5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

Today is completely devoted to game viewing as we search for the 'Big Five', amongst other animals. We reach our camp at sunset for dinner and overnight. Some may want to do a night drive in an open game viewing vehicle utilising high powered spotlights to find the nocturnal animals (optional).

DAY 3. 5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

After a final game drive and breakfast, we drive via Kowyn's Pass to the Escarpment and visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and the Lisbon Falls.
Then we travel through the Abel Erasmus tunnel and descend down to the Lowveld en-route to Tzaneen. Explore the town and travel into the Magoebaskloof pass where our hotel is situated. The rest of the afternoon you can embark on short explorations around the hotel and marvel at the scenic views. Magoebas Kloof Hotel.

DAY 4. 5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

(Pietersburg) to the Waterberg area and to our private nature reserve.
After check-in, commence on an open vehicle drive in the Waterberg Mountains with magnificent views into the valleys. Overnight Wildside luxury Tented Camp - Entabeni Reserve.

DAY 5. 5 Day Kruger National Park Tour

Rise early for your game viewing drive. An optional helicopter trip is available and definitely not for the fainthearted! Spot the wildlife across the ravines or in the valleys. Unfortunately it is time to leave this paradise and you arrive at the chalets to check out and drive to Johannesburg via Pretoria for a short tour of the city. Some of the highlights are the Voortrekker Monument, Kruger House and the Union Buildings.
