Detailed Itinerary
Durban

Durban is an exciting city in which to play, shop, experience the nightlife and to relax. It's a city in which business and debate issues, which have far-reaching effects, not only on Africa but way beyond its borders, are discussed.
The world-class International Convention Centre (ICC) Durban has hosted an historic line-up of events including conferences of a global scale.
Kloof
Kloof is a leafy, middle- to upper class suburb and small town, that includes a smaller area called Everton, in the greater Durban area of eThekwini in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The word Kloof means 'gorge' in Afrikaans and the area is named after the deep ravine formed by the Molweni stream (stream of high cliffs). The Kloof Gorge is part of the 4.47 square kilometers (1.7 sq mi) Krantzkloof Nature Reserve.Kloof extends from the top of Field's Hill and borders Winston Park, Gillitts, Forest Hills and Hillcrest. These suburbs are collectively known as the Upper Highway Area or the Outer West region of Durban.
The M13 highway (built in the 1940s) intersects Kloof and this forms part of the route of the annual Comrades Marathon, an approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) ultra-marathon run between Pietermaritzburg and Durban since 1924.
It is a predominantly white, English-speaking area. Kloof features several upmarket shopping centres and the Kloof Country Club, founded in 1927. It is known as a mist-belt with winding roads and tree-surrounded mansions.
Valley of a Thousand Hills
The seemingly eternal tranquility of these rolling hills belies the blood-soaked drama that unfolded almost two centuries ago with the arrival of King Shaka's unstoppable regiments. Immediately after his coronation in 1816, the 'Black Napoleon' set about subjugating all the tribes that today constitute our Kingdom of the Zulu, and the Thousand Hills' Debe clansfolk were given no exemption - those who did not flee either capitulated to the monarch of Africa's newest empire or stood, fought and were overwhelmed by Shaka's military genius.
