Drakensberg Mountains

The Drakensberg mountains of South Africa or is a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland and world heritage site. The Drakensberg mountains, with their awe-inspiring basalt cliffs, snowcapped in winter, tower over riverine bush, lush yellowwood forests and cascading waterfalls, forms a massive barrier separating KwaZulu-Natal from the Kingdom of Lesotho. A four wheel drive up Sani Pass in the southern berg area, with it's hair raising bends and breathtaking views to the top of the mountain is an experience not to be missed.
